Ideas for Editing and Styling Your Custom Canvas Prints

Print Arcade : When you sit down to create an amazing canvas wall art, you may often find yourself short of ideas on how to approach this topic. Although it is of course possible to simply enlarge the image that you already have, as simplicity is sometimes a great option, there is a certain joy in knowing that you have also helped the development of your art by manipulating it and editing its features to bring out the best possible art that you can.

Editing the image quality is a great start to a final project

If you are not a professional photographer, chances are that you do not know how to manipulate all of the available settings in your camera in order to come up with the perfect image. However, there is no reason to fret about such issues, since the development of fantastic editing tools has now allowed even amateurs to bring out the best in their picture. Use the brightness and contrast options to enhance the entire image, and also to make sure that objects aren’t hidden by any unwanted shadows. Take your time with this step, as it will ensure that your final product is in the highest quality possible. You can also toggle the colour options to bring out some colours more than others, or you can blur the edges to accentuate an object in a particular part of the image. Whichever option you choose to make, also make sure to remember that less is more in this case, because if you go overboard with all of the image settings, it will be very evident that the image has been tempered with when it is blow up to a bigger scale.

Add A Little Text to Your Story

Text editing is a great way to make your picture a little more whimsical, or to add an inspirational quote or name of the place where the picture was taken. You can experiment with a variety of fonts and choose the one that fits best with the atmosphere that your picture is trying to make. This doesn’t mean that you should cover the entire canvas with text, although you could make some amazing inspirational quote posters this way, but if your canvas wall art really does have a special image behind it, do not hide it with too much text.

Selecting the Right Frame Will Add A Great Final Touch

Canvas prints do not necessarily require a frame, and in fact some look better without one, but if you are going to place the image in a room, frames can help the image fit better with the theme and colour of the room. Because your photo on canvas will already be quite large, the rule of thumb is to usually not add a large frame to go with it, because it is likely to swallow the entire image. You can also opt for the wrapped canvas options so that you are not left with white sides on your canvas that you may not know what to do with later on.
